Hand blowing glass has been around since the 1st century B.C. and our Indonesian artists have mastered the craft. This is the only place in the world that these spectacular vases are produced.
Crafted by hand from the repurposed roots of trees that have been used by government-controlled plantations in Indonesia, these pieces are 100% eco-friendly and reused. The leaves of the Gamal root tree are used to feed livestock, such as goats, sheep, etc. Even the glass is reused from discarded and broken pieces, melted down, and hand-blown into custom shapes. Thanks to the reclaimed nature of the materials, its sustainable, recyclable and eco-friendly.
